FGL Summer 2026 is a 2-week graduate-level program at UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), August 9–22, 2026 — $3,470 inclusive of housing and meals.

Jacob Searing provides remote Japanese language support throughout the Summer program. For on-site needs, experienced GPS and UCSD staff are available around the clock.

Emergency Contact: UCSD GPS/GLI on-site staff and the UCSD campus emergency line (24 hours). Jacob Searing is available from Japan for Japanese-language support during Japan hours.
Official GPS Graduate Program
FGL operates through UCSD's graduate school (GPS — School of Global Policy and Strategy). Our instructors are GPS faculty who teach PhD and Master's students. It is a rare configuration where Japanese undergraduates can take US graduate-level lectures.
