Program at a Glance
The Spring 2027 Future Global Leaders program at UC San Diego.
Program dates
February 7–27, 2027 (three weeks) on the UC San Diego campus. A two-week option runs February 14–27.
Who can apply
Japanese undergraduate and graduate students. No specific TOEFL/IELTS score required; a willingness to engage in English is enough.
Housing & meals
Spring program housing is the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego La Jolla — an all-suite hotel with a hot breakfast included daily.
Graduate-level lectures
Graduate-level lectures from UCSD GPS faculty — the same instructors who teach the graduate program.
Field trips
Field trips around San Diego built around the program themes (policy, technology, society).
Application deadline
Applications close December 15, 2026. Chuo University students apply from early September through their university's announced process.
