These Terms of Use govern your use of the Future Global Leaders (FGL) Program website at https://fgl.academy ("Site") operated by Eigo Pro ("we," "us," or "Operator"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.

1. Acceptance

By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for undergraduate students enrolled at Japanese universities and their parents or guardians. Minors must have parental consent to use this Service. No account registration is required, but you are expected to provide accurate information in any inquiry form.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Violate any applicable laws or public order
  2. Provide false or misleading information
  3. Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Operator, UCSD, or any third party
  4. Attempt unauthorized access to or place excessive load on the Site's systems
  5. Use information obtained through the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
  6. Advertise or solicit for competing programs without prior written permission

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (text, images, video, logos, etc.) is owned by or licensed to the Operator. No reproduction, republication, distribution, or public transmission is permitted without prior written consent.

5. Disclaimers

  1. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Site content but do not warrant it.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages (including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages) arising from use of the Service.
  3. The Service does not guarantee admission to the FGL Program; participation is subject to UCSD's selection process.
  4. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, government orders, or communications failures.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent we are liable under applicable law, our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you directly to the Operator (if any direct payment was received).

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Our primary users are Japanese consumers. Japanese law is chosen to ensure the applicability of Japanese consumer protection laws (APPI, the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, etc.) is unambiguous.

8. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
