This Privacy Policy describes how Eigo Pro ("we," "us," or "Operator") handles personal information in connection with the Future Global Leaders (FGL) Program.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected
We collect the following information:

Full application form (Google Forms)

- Home address (including postal code)
- Passport number, date of issue, and expiry date
- Emergency contact (relationship, name, email address, and phone number)
- Height
- English test scores (TOEIC, TOEFL, etc.)
- Optional tour selections
- Acceptance of the cancellation policy (typed signature)
LINE Official Account (@877bawzp)
- LINE User ID (a platform-internal identifier; not your phone number or LINE ID handle)
- Display name
- Profile picture URL
- Status message
- Message contents you send to the OA
Analytics and advertising measurement tools
- Cookie identifiers
- IP address
- Pages visited
- Session duration and conversion data (via Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics, the Meta advertising pixel, and the LINE Tag)
Site AI chat widget
- Message content you type
- IP address (used transiently for rate limiting)
3. Purposes of Use
Collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes (APPI Article 17):
- Responding to inquiries and processing applications for the FGL Program
- Sending program information and materials
- Communicating with you via the LINE Official Account
- Statistical analysis for program quality improvement (in anonymized/aggregated form)
- Advertising effectiveness and conversion measurement (via the Meta advertising pixel and the LINE Tag)
- Generating automated AI responses to inquiries (site chatbot and LINE Official Account)
- Compliance with applicable laws
Data will not be used beyond these stated purposes.
4. Third-Party Disclosures
We do not share your personal data with third parties without your prior consent, except as follows (APPI Article 27):
- UC San Diego GPS (academic provider / service processor)Necessary personal data is shared for program administration (enrollment processing, participant rosters, etc.). UCSD acts as our service processor and is bound by appropriate data protection obligations.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Forms, and Google Sheets) — https://policies.google.com/privacyCookie data is shared for site analytics, and information you enter in the application/inquiry forms is stored in Google Sheets (US). The Spring program's full application form is hosted on Google Forms (US), and the information listed in Article 2 for that form is stored on Google's servers.
- OpenAI, L.L.C. (US) — https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policyMessage content you send is transmitted to generate automated responses in the site chat widget and the LINE Official Account. For messages via LINE, the user ID is hashed before transmission.
- Zoho Corporation (US) — https://www.zoho.com/privacy.htmlHost of the UC San Diego GPS application form used for the Summer program. When you apply for the Summer program, your name and email address are carried over to the GPS form as URL parameters. This is not used for Spring program applications.
- Twilio SendGrid (US) — https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacyUsed to deliver email notifying the operator of applications and inquiries.
- Binary Butterfly GmbH (ntfy.sh / Germany) — https://docs.ntfy.sh/privacy/Used to deliver push notifications alerting the operator of applications and inquiries.
- Vercel Inc. (US) — https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policyUsed for site hosting, performance analytics, and server logging.
- LINE Corporation / LY Corporation — https://terms.line.meMessages you send to our LINE Official Account are processed through LINE's platform.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (US) — https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policyCookies and browser identifiers are shared via the Meta advertising pixel for advertising effectiveness and conversion measurement.
- LY Corporation (LINE Ads / LINE Tag) — https://line.me/en/terms/policy/Advertising identifiers are shared via the LINE Tag for advertising effectiveness and conversion measurement (a purpose distinct from operating the LINE Official Account).
- Legal requirementsDisclosure to courts, regulators, or law enforcement as required by applicable law.
5. International Transfers (APPI Article 28)
This Service's website and data are hosted and processed primarily in the United States. Information submitted via the inquiry/application forms, text entered into the site chat widget, and information from the LINE Official Account may be stored or processed on systems located in the United States and other countries (for example, operator push notifications are delivered via Binary Butterfly GmbH / ntfy.sh in Germany). The United States has not received an adequacy determination from Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC). For information on US data protection law, please refer to the PPC country survey (US section, pp. 9-41). By using this Service, you consent to this international transfer. If you do not consent, please refrain from submitting forms or adding our LINE Official Account.
6. Retention Periods

Data will be deleted or anonymized promptly upon expiry.
7. Your Data Subject Rights (APPI Articles 32-34)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Correction / Addition / Deletion (Art. 34) — Request correction of inaccurate data
- Suspension of Use (Art. 34) — Request suspension of use or erasure if data is handled outside stated purposes
- Cessation of Third-Party Disclosure (Art. 34) — Request we stop sharing your data if we are doing so improperly

8. Security Measures (APPI Article 23)
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration of your personal data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Access controls limiting personal data access to authorized personnel
- Processors and partners handling personal data operate under their own published data-protection terms
- Timely deletion of data no longer required
9. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses cookies for functionality and to understand usage. We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics for analytics; under Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are anonymized. For advertising measurement we also use the Meta advertising pixel and the LINE Tag (LINE Ads), which set advertising cookies and identifiers on page load. You may disable cookies in your browser settings (some features may be limited), and you can opt out of Meta advertising via Meta's ad-settings pages.
10. LINE Official Account Data Practices
Personal information handling for FGL Academy's LINE Official Account (@877bawzp) is as follows:
